Sad to say that after a windy weekend, my back door maple is almost bare of leaves. :(
My tree isn't 100 years old (yet) but is very special because my son (now 36) called it his tree from the day he first noticed a little sapling with just a couple of green leaves growing next to a small flower garden.

This looks just like what I saw on my walk yesterday morning! Isn't fall grand?! :)
Fun to see a little piece of "your world"...

We have the same thing outside our back door - a hundred year old maple. It is so beautiful!
