I rejoice that there are owls...they represent the stark twilight and unsatisfied thoughts which all men have. ~Henry David Thoreau
Fun! I'd rather watch baseball than fireworks!
Were you there?
Nan ~ Unfortunately, I wasn't there. The crowds at Fenway and the stress of getting there and home are just too much for me now. I watch from the comfort of home--or even better, listen to the game on the radio.
And that's more than I do. We gave up television, and rely on Netflix and the PBS channels we get with the antenna. I should listen on the radio but it never seems to happen. My childhood was spent with the games on the car radio, or at my father's garage, or at home. But now, I don't turn it on for the games. Why? I just don't know. BTW, Tom loved Francona. Said it was very, very good.
