The library bag is somewhat manageable this week. Finishing everything before the looming due dates almost seems possible!
- Astor Place Vintage by Stephanie Lehmann
- Sweet Salt Air by Barbara Delinsky
- The Time Between by Karen White
All the Summer Girls by Meg Donohue
The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat by Edward Kelsey Moore
And for anyone wondering what my library looks like, here it is!

That is a beautiful library! Oh my gosh, it is huge. I think I'd spend all day there.
I can quite easily control myself in a bookstore because there is money involved :<) but in a library, either for real or downloadable books, I am utterly hopeless and helpless. I always come home with way more than I'll ever read. I've been telling myself I should go in, get one book, read it, bring it back, and start again. Probably won't though.
I love our library building, Nan. It's a Henry Hobson Richardson (Trinity Church in Copley Square, Boston) building; and in addition to books, it's full of history. I worked in the Children's Room in the early 1960s for $.10 an hour!
It sounds like we could never go to a library together because we might never be seen again! I go every Tuesday, and my library bag is always filled to overflowing. Can't help myself. Then when I go to the Boston Public Library website to download books, I just can't stop clicking!
What a beautiful library. I love that it looks like a church rather than something modern-looking like so many of our new libraries in Lincoln.
I rarely ever visit our libraries, as I have far too many unread books in this house of mine! But when I do go, I have a difficult time selecting just one or two. I usually bring an armload home and watch them as they collect dust. :)
